Ugh!

This rule of thumb for movies I rent that I think are crappy turning out to be actually quite good also goes the opposite way.

I hung out with Luis last night and we rented "Rescue Dawn." Starring Christian Bale and Steve Zahn, I was really looking forward to this movie. Pretty much a Vietnamese version of "The Great Escape."
THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
Honestly.
The whole thing felt like the most contrived piece of shit ever filmed.
I honestly can't describe to you how terrible it was, but my face hurt by the end because for the last 20 minutes of the movie, I was scowling with all of my might trying in vain to find some kind of connection between the jumble of shots that apparently are supposed to form some sort of narrative.

Ugh.
