Today was a me day, which I always enjoy. I sat around, cleaned the last bits of the house for when my mom comes home. I also watched "Jarhead" and "The Nines".
"Jarhead" was really good. I don't think it really brought anything new to the genre, but it was nice to see a modern day "Platoon".
"The Nines" was very interesting. Am I the only person who actually likes Ryan Reynolds? If you're a critic, you should check out this movie. A nice little head trip that doesn't end in a terribly depressing way.
My mom is adorable. She just called and we talked for awhile. She brought up the apartment thing and asked what people on Craig's List meant when they said "420 friendly". I was cracking up. THEN she asked over my laughter if it meant "something about being gay". I could not control myself. It was ridiculous.
